Orbit 1 Lesson1 - History Documents (English, In-class)

Students in the pilot class at École Banting Middle enjoyed gaining an historical perspective of their fictional country through the provided history documents and did a great job of creating graphic notes.  At this point, the citizens of each country began to bond.  I found the reading level of the histories challenging for some of the grade six students and decided to write another set.  Now, there are two reading levels of history documents in both French and English.  Chris Culos and I added cloze activities, crosswords and word searches for vocabulary development so that every student was engaged.
